Security-defense considerations in preparing Iran's coasts

Abstract

One of the most important issues that are ignored or underestimated in developing regional development models is defense security considerations. Failure to pay attention to defense security considerations in development plans will not provide the security needed to run any program, and planning is a serious problem. The research method of this article is descriptive-analytical.The present research tool is satellite imagery and Arc Gis software. In this research, we analyze and evaluate the indicators of defense security considerations of Mokran coasts of Iran in the form of three groups of environmental, socio-economic and military environmental indicators. The results suggest that in the current situation, Iran should first place its security measures in the forefront of the Mokran coastline in terms of military issues in order to make the security approach necessary for investors and tourists to enter the region. And ultimately secure security will be achieved. In general, the results show that regional development strategies (regional network approach rather than growth poles) are used for development plan in Mokran coastal region. The accumulation of facilities and activities near the Chabahar port in the future will cause imbalances in the Mokran coast region. this point is noted that in case of inattention of managers and country planners to proportionate advantages of this area and lack of creation of required infrastructures, the Guador port in Pakistan is considered as the most important rival in this region that could use the advantages of Mokran shores in Iran for its own profit.
